I had previously been running in the Nike Equalons and the Nike Triax Structure +14s. Those shoes were great, but they were a little on the heavy side and actually gave me more support than I needed. I'm a tall guy weighing almost 200 pounds so I'm always hesitant to try out lightweight shoes, but these Lunarfly 2's are a nice halfway point between the shoes mentioned above and the new minimalist shoes that don't provide much support at all.Running Warehouse has a nice comparison shoe fitter tool so you can see what size would be best based on the sneakers you currently have. For me these Lunarfly 2's fit a little big so I went 0.5 size down from what I normally get.
After several runs including a long run of 8 miles these sneakers have held up great. I actually went out and bought a second pair in a different color.
