I like high-tops. They are versatile and little pebbles or seed pods don't get stuck in my shoes if I run in a field with my dog. High-tops generally mean Basketball shoes. Basketball shoes are crazy. Crazy colors, materials, prices and they aren't ideal for what I wear sneakers for. I just wanted a sneaker that was comfortable, conservative and performs well. Most nikes are a little narrow for my foot, so I have to suffer for a week or two until they loosen up. These feel great day one. I will update the post on how they wear and perform.
